Level 2 Certificate of Competence in Powered Pole Pruner Maintenance & Operation 0039-26

This course is for anyone wishing to be training in basic tree pruning, i.e. crown reduction, thinning, cleaning and raising.

Objectives:

• Be able to work safely
• Be able to use a powered pole pruner
• Know relevant health and safety legislation and industry good practice
• Know how to use a powered pole pruner

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Head Protection – to include head, ear and eye protection, chainsaw gloves and steel toe cap boots 

 Equipment: A Powered Pole Pruner, fuel and any maintenance tools
