This qualification is a practical and interactive training course. It will provide the technical knowledge and practical skills to increase your knowledge base for safer lifting of objects.

What the course will cover

It covers practical aspects of lifting, lowering, carrying, pushing and pulling as land-based employees.

Objectives:

Cover legislation relating to Manual Handling 

Learn how to use new safer technique/s on how to handle or move objects

Who is responsible for making sure you carry out Manual Handling correctly

Learning to minimise risks within the work area

Put in place new procedures to adhere to Manual Handling techniques
