Brushcutter/Trimmer Maintenance and Operation Lantra Awards ITA for experienced/novice operator

This course is for those that need to operate a brush cutter or trimmer at home or at work.

Objectives:

• To understand legislation
• To understand PPE
• To understand machine maintenance/ cutter maintenance
• To demonstrate safe operation
• To understand site organisation

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Steel toecap boots, Head, ear and eye protection and gloves, Snag proof outer clothing.

Equipment needed: Brushcutter/Trimmer, fuel/oil and maintenance tools

Duration: 1 day for the experienced operators (2 days for the novice)
